After a long break. We will have our band practice soon! We will be support musicians for worship on 14 Dec at 1230pm service. Worship Leader : Sis wan Jie

Time: 7pm-10pm

Venue: 1st Music Room

Musicians to get equipments ready by 7pm. No drums for that day as Jeremy will not be around. Songs will be given to you on day itself. Do check your emails respectively for updates where neccessary.

Good job on sunday! may the praises we bring glory to God! We will have our lessons with Pr.Wu soon as soon as Jeremy have confirmed his schedule..for now.we shalll take a break. we will have lessons 3 more to go..after which we will have a break for a week or 2 before we come back again in Nov..for practices for the dec worship by Wan Jie..so keep a lookout for this blog..For now..God bless! have a nice week ahead.

Hi. all. We will be leading worship this sunday.

Hence, the final final practice will be on the day itself.

Date: 21st Sept

Pls be in the main santuary by 1130am sharp. We have 30 minutes of practice only.

Guys: i need u all to help set up the drums and keyboard in the main hall by 930am.

Attire : Formal ( black or white...)
No Jeans / No polo or T-shirt

Pls continue to pray for the worship for this sunday that the congregation can get used to the style of worship for the day.

Pls also continue to pray for everyone , musicians, vocalists etc. their health and spirtual walk with God.

Hi all.

This is to inform all that the upcoming practice will be as follows:

Date : 30 Aug 2008 ( sat) - T0 be confirmed

Time : 2pm -5pm

Venue: Main Sanctuary ( If Jeremy is around)

Please be punctual and ensure respective equipments are set up before practice starts

* There might be additional rehearsal on 29 Aug 2008 as well. More details will be provided later this week.


Please note that all musicians MUST BE present during the above mentioned practice as the main santuary needs to be booked. (amended 28 Aug at 4.50pm )

*Attendance for vocalists to attend above practice is NOT compulsory.( added on 28 Aug @4.50pm)

Prayer Requests

1. Please keep Sis Quan Mei and Sis Adeline in prayers as they are in the midst of their O and A levels prelim exams. ( pray for their health, wisdom, spiritual walk with God)

Annoucement!

1. Approval of drums

W.e.f May 2008, drums has been approved by the Elder and Deacon Board. Hence, the band ( The Psalmists) will be given the opportunity to play during the 1230pm service for 3 times for the year 2008.

2. Meeting with Preacher Wu.

Date: 17th May 2008

Time: 3.30pm
All are to attend the meeting as an important discussion will take place.

3. New member

Sis Adeline will join the band as a vocalist w.e.f 3 May 2008. The band will now have 2 vocalists.

Maybe we can jam this song the next time. I need to know when you guys are free so we can jam or something? Here's the update about the meeting last month:

1) Preacher Ng suggested a few things about the drum issue and the main committee basically can't be bothered about the issue anymore and push everything over to the 12:30pm committee on May. So we can't play till after the May's meeting.

2) This doesn't mean we don't have any projects left. We still have the song recording project yet to discuss and come to a conclusion.

3) We still haven't voted/choose a vocal singer. Vocal lessons are still available for all information.

Anyway, I'll be hosting another jamming session soon so those interested please reply my upcoming sms so I'll see if the response is good. Might help you guys relax from those taxing homework and exams you know. ;)

Hey Psalmists !

Blessed Birthday!

The psalmists is 1 year old tomorrow ! ( 4 Feb) Time really really flies ! We had been thru a lot for the past 1 year....serving in many events and God have guide me thru during this year! As we continued our journey as the psalmists, may the Lord guide and bless us in everything that is happening this year 2008. Continue to keep the band in prayers as the deacons and elders board made their approval of drums and for the upcoming projects we are going to handle!
